Ford Park details:

O'Neill's swimming pool is located in the park. The pool hosts at least two large swimming meets in the summer months, one being the championship of the club of which The Blue Dolphins (O'Neill's Swimming Team) is a member. Also, a new wading pool for toddlers with a large mushroom for the children to enjoy and a zero depth entrance has been added. A large playground is located in the park wtih a wide variety of playground equipment newly installed within the last ten years. The east side has a sand volleyball pit and there are three picnic shelters located throughout the park, as well as a lovely gazebo which is used for weddings, class pictures and other events. Visitors will enjoy the shade of the lovely, historic evergreen trees that were brought from the Niobrara River and planted when the park was established over 100 years ago. Over the years, newer tree plantings have been completed.
